The goal is to attract golf enthusiasts and vacationing families.
As part of the celebration of National Golf Lovers Day, Tulum launched an innovative media activation at the so-called Jungle Airport, aiming to attract golf enthusiasts and families to enjoy vacations in this Mexican Caribbean paradise.
Jorge Molina, Director of Tourism Promotion for the Municipality of Tulum, reported that this Friday the airport was transformed into a recreational activity center to capture the attention of travelers of all ages.
He detailed that the interactive sports activities are led by the professional team from Tulum Country Club, recognized as one of the best golf courses in Mexico by the World Travel Awards.
He said the initiative promises not only to surprise visitors but also to foster a new audience of golf lovers.
He explained that the arrival of a world-class airport in the region has facilitated access to Tulum, making it an even more attractive destination for golf travelers from the United States, Mexico, Latin America, and soon, Europe.
He pointed out that with the support of the municipality and under the Visit Tulum brand, continuous efforts are being made to promote golf tourism through international fairs and digital platform campaigns.
He stated that with this activation, Tulum seeks not only to highlight its tourist offerings but also to establish itself as a reference in family golf, combining fun, sports, and the natural beauty of the destination.
“We celebrate Golf Lovers Day with a sports media activation at the PGA Riviera Maya Golf Club, showcasing different ways to enjoy golf for families and people of all ages at this great golf course in Tulum, which has already been nominated as the best course in Mexico. Travelers can now learn more about the sport, practice, and discover that Tulum complements its beaches with a golf course in the jungle, as well as an airport in the jungle that has been well received by all travelers at this great TQO airport,” he concluded.
