The luxury cruise ship Ilma, part of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and operated by NextGen Cruises Ltd, has arrived in Cozumel. Vagner Elbiorn, General Director of the Quintana Roo Port Authority (APIQROO), officially welcomed the crew and passengers.
As part of the welcoming ceremony, a traditional exchange of plaques took place, symbolizing the collaboration and strengthening of ties between Cozumel and NextGen Cruises Ltd.

The Ilma, under the Maltese flag, arrived at 6:00 a.m. from Fort Lauderdale, United States, and is bound for Belize. The name “Ilma” means “Water” in Maltese. This luxury cruise ship is notable for offering the highest proportion of space per guest in the industry.
