Referrals of Cuban citizens to the Civic Courts for administrative offenses have increased in downtown Cancun. Authorities in the Benito Juárez district reported that over the past two weeks, there has been an increase in referrals of Cuban citizens to the Civic Courts for various administrative offenses. The main complaints are concentrated in superblocks 23, 24, and 28, as well as on Chichén Itzá and Uxmal avenues. According to reports, the neighborhood complaints are related to public alcohol consumption, excessive noise at night, drug sales, garbage accumulation, and conflicts in common areas.
