Prominent entrepreneurs from Playa del Carmen have announced the return of Fuckup Nights, an event where notable figures from the local private sector share lessons learned from their professional failures.
Event Details
This edition will feature Jaime González, president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) Playa del Carmen and founder of One Prime Property Compass; Adriana Bravo, former president of the Mexican Association of Business Women (Amexme) and co-founder of DHB Diseño; and Marc Pujol, president of the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) Riviera Maya and founder of Gama Master Broker.
Ken Ramírez, director of Komuni and one of the event organizers, explained that Fuckup Nights began in 2012 in Mexico City. A group of friends shared their professional failures in a conversation, realizing that success often comes from the lessons learned from these failures. This initiative to share failures publicly has now reached 200 cities in 90 countries.
The goal is to unite businessmen and entrepreneurs in Playa del Carmen through these talks, providing valuable learning experiences to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
“We are resuming the unification of the business and entrepreneurial sectors. There was no event like this before, and I believe these are times for unification and strengthening. The most important thing for us is to reconnect and enjoy the night sharing experiences,” said César Carranza, owner of Riviera Publicidad.
Event Information
Fuckup Nights will take place on November 14th at 7 PM on the roof of The Palm At Playa hotel. Tickets are available in advance for 250 pesos and will cost 350 pesos on the day of the event.
