Continuing with its ambitious growth strategy, Copa Airlines announced that starting June 26, it will begin flying to the city of Tulum, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, from its Hub of the Americas in Panama.

This renowned tourist destination located in the south of Quintana Roo, between the Riviera Maya and Bacalar, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, is known for its diversity of tourist offerings, including a vibrant archaeological, cultural, and spiritual array that combines with ecotourism parks, cenotes, art, typical gastronomy, natural reserves, and—as added value—the destinations of Mahahual, Bacalar, and Chetumal, full of attractions and experiences.

Copa Airlines: Panama, the Hub of Connections in the Americas

“We remain firm in our purpose to shorten distances and facilitate connections for our passengers, allowing Panama to continue being the bridge that unites thousands of people across the continent, while contributing to the economic development of the communities where we operate. This strategic expansion not only promotes the cultural exchange of the region but also promotes and deepens tourism and business with Mexico,” said Christian Rodriguez, general manager of Copa Airlines for Mercosur.
