Mayor Ana Paty Peralta announced that Mexico has been recognized as one of the most fun countries in the world according to the most recent US News & World Report ranking. She also celebrated that Cancún, which is “one of the most complete tourist destinations,” is largely due to this achievement.

The list highlights the cheerful and festive atmosphere of Cancún’s beaches as one of the main reasons why Mexico ranks fifth globally, behind only Spain, Brazil, Italy, and Thailand.

This prestigious ranking is based on a survey of more than 17,000 people from around the world, who evaluate multiple aspects of the country, including its cultural heritage, quality of life, openness to business, purchasing power, entrepreneurial spirit, and, of course, its ability to offer entertainment.

This action reflects that Cancún continues to conquer the world with its blend of nature, culture, and entertainment; as well as its endless nightlife, water activities, international events, and unparalleled hospitality.

Furthermore, its air connectivity, diverse accommodations, and commitment to quality service have been key factors in helping it stand out from other tourist destinations.

With this new recognition, Cancún not only reaffirms its leadership within the Mexican Caribbean, but also elevates Mexico’s prestige on the international tourism map.
