The new dates are October 21 and 22 on the esplanade of the ‘Cecilio Chi’ gym.
Cancun Potterheads, prepare your best spells because this Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7, a Harry Potter Festival will be held on the esplanade of the ‘Cecilio Chi’ gym.
Unfortunately, we cannot stop the rain with a ‘finite incantatem’, so the new dates for the magical event will be Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, together with Repello Muggletum, will have many activities prepared for members of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff to live a totally magical experience with a clear sky.
Schedule and activities
The event will be from 5 pm (local time) to 10 pm, so you will have enough time to enjoy the following surprises that Harry, Hermione and Ron have prepared for you:
Bazaar
There will be various stalls where you will find all kinds of merchandise related to the saga, from capes, wands and probably one or another locket.
Food
You’ll feel like you’re eating homemade Weasley food, as well as delicious desserts; Maybe you could grab a butterbeer and toast with your potterhead friends.
(Be careful that your food or drinks do not contain a powerful love potion…)
Best costume contest
Let your imagination fly and dress up as your favorite character.
It is not an option to leave the event without first going through your individual thematic photo or in the company of your friends and/or family.
Magic wand workshop
There is nothing more fantastic and incredible than putting together your own magic wand with dragon heartstring, phoenix feather and even unicorn tail hair, are you ready to be the chosen one?
Tournament of the 4 houses
Demonstrate your knowledge of the book and movie saga to the entire magical community of Cancun.
Film projection
The icing on the cake will be the screening of the first two films: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

The ‘Cecilio Chi’ gym is located in superblock 24, Punta Pulticub street 25B.
Can Muggles/Nomajs attend?
Remember that for this occasion, Muggles will be allowed to enter only if they are accompanied by a wizard or witch.
