There are no detainees
This morning on the federal highway Playa del Carmen-Puerto Morelos section a double execution occurred.
It was in the Playa Paraíso subdivision, in the municipality of Solidaridad, where two subjects, one with a short weapon and the second with a long weapon, directly attacked two people, who were working as security guards.
According to the information provided by the police authorities, both victims lost their lives. The attackers fled to Cancun aboard a gray Chevrolet pickup, without their arrest having been reported so far.
“The Ministry of Public Security continues the investigations. Citizens are asked to report any information to 911,” the head of the state Public Security office, Lucio Hernández Gutiérrez, posted on his social networks.
For its part, the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office reported that this Saturday it began the investigation folder related to the homicide of two subjects in Playa Paraíso.
“A search operation is already being implemented to locate the participants in this crime,” the agency posted on Twitter.
