Three bodies with signs of violence found in Playa del Carmen

On the morning of this Monday, the bodies of two men and a woman were found in an abandoned house, at the intersection of Tulum and Othón Pompeyo Blanco streets and 28 de Julio Avenue, in the Nueva Creación neighborhood of Playa del Carmen.

Preliminary police reports mention that the woman’s body was in a fetal position with a gunshot wound to the head. One of the men was seated; the other, lying down. Both with visible signs of firearm projectiles.

The three deceased are unidentified. One of the men had a bracelet. Another preliminary piece of information is that they all had tattoos.

Experts from the Quintana Roo Attorney General’s Office are conducting investigations at the crime scene; the bodies were transferred to the morgue for the respective autopsies.”
