Trends in Real Estate Frauds:
– Ejido Land Purchases: Foreigners buying ejido land, believing they can build homes, face high risks due to the legal nature of ejidos.
– Share Sales in Buildings: Buyers acquire shares instead of units, leading to confusion and legal risks.
Pre-sales Frauds and Lack of Permits: Some developers offer pre-sales on social media without necessary permits, leading to legal issues for uninformed buyers.
Collapse of the Real Estate Bubble in Tulum: The real estate bubble in Tulum has started to collapse, with prices dropping by 30% in areas like La Veleta and Aldea Zama.
Regional Real Estate Law Congress: Anade will organize the second Regional Real Estate Law Congress on November 15 at the Aloft Hotel in Tulum, addressing fraud prevention, high-risk operations, and growth regulation.
