Get to know this music festival, temazcales, cacao ceremonies, sound healing, and holistic market in Tulum

With more than twelve years of experience in being one of the best event venues in Tulum, the Papaya Playa Project hotel presents Philia, a new experience in the Riviera Maya. On April 27, Philia starts with self-exploration and well-being sessions through a program with temazcales, cocoa ceremonies, sound healing, as well as a holistic market where oriental medicine consultations will be given and a collective offering to life will be made. The experience also welcomes some of the most representative exponents of electronic music at a global level: Monolink (Germany), Innellea (Germany) and HVOB (Austria) as some of the main acts within the line up, and national talent such as Mystery Affair and Kalexis who will be part of the musical experience of this meeting.

Philia was born as an event that seeks to create a connection with the natural beauty of Tulum, as well as with the spirit of each one of the attendees, generating fraternity, inspiration and harmony through the fusion of music, art and nature on the paradisiacal beaches of the Mexican Caribbean. Thus, Papaya Playa Project proposes through Philia a comprehensive weekend with activities that complement each other for the development of well-being: happenings and artistic installations, therapeutic workshops and the curation of a musical program that will accompany the experience. Papaya Playa Project, together with Design Hotels™, set out to discover a new form of hospitality, fusing local culture, art, music and sustainability to set the stage with original and aspirational hospitality experiences. The project focuses on his vision of a sustainable and responsible Tulum that can be an example of hotel development around the world.

An immersive weekend to connect through holistic activities, art and music with local and international talent. Some of the artists are Robag Wruhme, known for his unconventional techno productions; Jenia Tarsol, on the rise on the international electronic music scene; and Isolée, whose song “Beau Mot Plage” stood out as one of the most influential tracks of the 90s according to Pitchfork magazine.
