NASA shares photograph of Comet Neowise captured from Cancun.- The United States Space Agency (NASA) shared a photograph of Comet Neowise that was captured in Cancun.
The photograph was taken by astrophotographer Roberto Fernández and not only the comet is distinguished, but also the Punta Sur of Isla Mujeres and the temple of the goddess Ixchel.
“Happy, happy, happy, today the @Sky page of the NASA-National Aeronautics and Space Administration shares a picture of me of the comet,” wrote Fernández.
“This is an incredible reward, for 5 days early, one day after another, this makes me see that it was all worth it,” he stated on his Facebook account.

The photograph of Roberto Fernández impressed NASA and the users of social networks, it is worth mentioning that this is the second time that the agency shares the work of the astrophotographer, since a year ago he was praised for the photograph he took of Chichén. Itzá with the Milky Way in the background; which was selected as the “Astronomical Photography of the day” on June 17, 2019.
It should be noted that the spectacle generated by the comet is unique in life, since it will not occur again in at least 6,800 years, so photography could become the most representative of the comet in history.
