Investigations reveal that Jesús “N” allegedly works as a hitman and driver for a criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking in the area.
The Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Quintana Roo reported this Sunday that it arrested Jesús “N”, alias “El Fiscalito”, an alleged member of a criminal group in Tulum, who has been linked to at least 14 homicides in the region.
According to the authorities, among the crimes he is being investigated for are the murder of three people and the injuries of another on May 6 in the Maya neighborhood of Tulum, as well as the murder of two foreign nationals at a beach club on February 9 of this year.
He is also attributed with participating in the murder of a security guard on March 15, 2024.
Investigations carried out so far reveal that “El Fiscalito” allegedly works as a hitman and driver for a criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking in the area.
Jesús “N” was arrested along with four other individuals on Gama Oriente Street in Tulum, who were identified as Jacinto “N”, Heberto “N”, Leonardo “N”, and Jorge Oliver “N”.
During the routine inspection, authorities found small bags of green dry herb resembling marijuana, small bags with a crystalline solid substance similar to methamphetamine, and small bags with a yellowish solid substance resembling the drug known as crack, detailed the prosecutor’s office.
Additionally, they found “a 9 mm firearm, exclusively for the use of the Army, Navy, and Air Force; a magazine loaded with live cartridges, and a green tactical vest.”
All the detainees, along with the evidence found, were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, which will determine their legal status in the coming days.
